You’re Worth
The biggest flaw a person can make is allowing another person to set your personal worth.
And I don’t mean just financial value. I mean you as a person.
Your human potential.
Look back on history and you see this as the “sin” we all can agree on.
The belittling and shutting down of others for personal gain. It’s disgusting and degenerative for our species.
When someone limits our worth and potential, we don’t feel great. It gets to the best of us. Yet, we see it happen in the world every day or we may even do it to others.
This type of limiting has been used to sell us and sell to us.
By making you feel less than, you are therefore in need.
Making you think there’s a deficit, makes you feel void of something. A vacuum fit for a degree, a partner, a look, an accessory, a car, a house, a dollar amount, a (fill in the blank)…
It’s clear to see that by belittling someone it knocks them down into the have-not while the other person is lifted upon the having.
This creates desperation and defeat. Our belittled outlook is limited and will fall for anything because we feel like nothing.
To limit is to be scarce.
Your worth is much more than this.
Humans by nature are not scarce. Humans are not limited.
We can look at all the things we have accomplished as proof of that. From language to airplanes and web3 to cookware. We are inventive, creative, and limitless.
Humans have an innate ability and desire to uncover nature’s laws(and secrets) in order to harness and manipulate its power.
Electricity, math, materials, etc. we have done so in many areas.
Does this sound limited?
If someone puts a lesser worth on you they are contradicting their own species. They are doubting the accomplishments we have done together as a society. It’s a scarce, limited mindset. It’s underestimating the true value a human harnesses.
To ignore the human potential of each person is to neglect these facts. Each life has value, but further they have potential. This intrinsic value is typically attempted to be crushed by those who think they have accomplished more. However, they forget that a current “have-not” can create something that changes the world. Sure, it may just be a matter of time, but it will happen.
Understanding and accounting for the unknowns is where we fall short as a species. Your potential is just that. An unknown.
We can’t guess or project what you might accomplish.
On the other hand, we can estimate that you’ll probably fail. Failure is a known. It happens. It’s inevitable.
Your potential is unknown. Your potential is extremely valuable.
Don’t ever let someone tell you otherwise.
Your worth should be you’re worth.
You are worth.
You are worthy.
